Newton Light Watch Tower
The Newton Light Watch Tower (NLWT) is the first of its kind and meets the needs of any construction site allowing for 24/7 CCTV surveillance as well as lighting, all powered by ZERO Carbon hydrogen. The NLWT is favoured over any fixed system, for constructions sites in particular, as they can be moved around as the site progresses. The CCTV is not only useful for site security but can also be used as a method of managing health and safety, as well as being managed remotely 24/7/365.
Powered by Intelligent Energy’s IE-LIFT fuel cell, the Newton Light Tower (NLT) creates chemical reaction between bottled hydrogen and oxygen in the surrounding air to produce clean energy with zero carbon emissions and zero greenhouse gases. The IE-LIFT fuel cell works in replacement of red diesel engines, providing carbon-free lighting with only water vapour as the by-product.
Fuel Cell
The IE-LIFT fuel cell takes the bottled hydrogen and oxygen in the surrounding air to create the chemical reaction that is needed to charge the lithium batteries that will supply power. The fuel cell re-charges the lithium batteries ready for use. The hydrogen fuel cell is completely silent.
Bottle Hydrogen
Each cylinder is filled with 1kg hydrogen the cylinders are easy to change and poses no ground spill or human risk. The hydrogen is sourced from Europe’s first zero carbon plant that will convert waste plastic into hydrogen fuel. The source of the hydrogen fuel, coupled with the cutting-edge IE-LIFT fuel cell makes the bottle carbon negative.
